- Due to the high altitude of Ladakh, guests cannot visit Pangong Lake on the day of arrival in Leh. It is necessary to stay in Leh for at least one night to acclimatize to the altitude. You can visit the beautiful Pangong Lake the following day after proper acclimatization.
