What to expect
Explore Taxila, Ancient Buddhist civilization, a vibrant community dated back 2000 years ago. Taxila had one of the earliest university in world and it was city of knowledge globally. Owing to its strategic location, Taxila has changed hands many times over the centuries, with many empires vying for its control. In 1980, Taxila was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2006 it was ranked as the top tourist destination in Pakistan by The Guardian newspaper. You will explore Taxila Museum, Taxila Ruins, Jaulian Buddhist Monastery, Dharmarajika Stupa And Monastery and some other attractions. An English guide will accompany you during the tour. Hotel pick up and drop off from Islamabad.
