About this experience

What to expect

We'll take you on a walk through Nairobi City, and get into at least 1 suburbs of Nairobi. you'll get an up-close look at the livelihood of Kenyans and you'll truly get a great feeling of how it feels to live like a local. We'll hop from one 'matatu' to the other (Local means of transport) as we transit to different locations. As we walk through Nairobi, you'll meet locals, while discovering their daily life. we'll talk about Kenya's history, political and social struggles, and its role in greater Nairobi as we walk and transit to different localities as you enjoy the authentic Nairobi life. This city tour offers you an opportunity to live like a local for a moment. You will learn where the majority of the locals live, eat, (enjoy street food optional), how we commute from home to work, where we go shopping, our culture, learn a bit of our language. As a complimentary, we'll take you Maasai market shopping and you will get the best prices in the market as for locals.

• Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
• Not recommended for pregnant travelers
• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• Wear good shoes (no sandals or high heels)
• Carry a copy of your passport (main page and the page showing the visa stamp) or your original passport
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers
• Do not bring a camera, since taking pictures in town is not allowed (but your phone is fine)
• Do not carry any valuables like flashy jewellery
